Meet The Artist
Brianna is a multidisciplinary artist & crafter based in Washington, DC, who discovered fiber art in the summer of 2021 as a therapeutic outlet. What began as a personal way to cope with grief and loss has evolved into a meaningful creative journey, allowing her to express a wide range of emotions through color and texture. Her work resonates with many who view her art as a source of warmth and inspiration.
Rainbows hold a special place in Brianna's heart, bringing her joy and happiness. She refers to this love of rainbows as an "unhealthy obsession," and her unique approach to color and texture is central to her work. Each piece carries personal significance, often reflecting her emotional state at the time of its creation and adding layers of narrative to her art, making it a journey of both color and feeling.
In her creative process, Brianna emphasizes strong contrasts between saturation and luminosity, resulting in dynamic, vivid, and impactful compositions. She often incorporates around 35 different colors to achieve a rich, balanced effect, blending brightness with depth to create harmonious contrast. This distinctive approach has defined her style and established her as a rising artist with a flair for bold contrasts and meaningful art.
